Stress Management using Hypnosis
Transforming Stress before it becomes DISEASE stress is the underlying cause of 85 to 90% of visits to the doctor and includes Fibromyalgia, Headaches and other Chronic Pain syndromes. Since research shows this to be true, why do we not recognize these stressors? How is it that we let stress create such problems in our lives? These questions are being studied more than ever before as noted in recent issues of Time, News Week, US News and World Report, National Geographic and a host of other weekly and monthly magazines including O, The Oprah Magazine.
This Is An Interactive Course That Teaches:
– How to recognize common stressors of life.
– How to deal with everyday physical stressors.
– How to deal with organizational change.
– How to recognize the signs of occupational burnout.
– How to develop preventive measures and coping skills to lessen stress.
– How toxic tongues can create toxic outcomes.
– How to integrate physical health, emotional health, and stress management.
– How to let unavoidable stress work for you.
– How to change what you can change.
– How to use the Albert Einstein model to decrease stress and enhance creativity.
How Do I Know If I Am Stressed?
Prolonged stress can result in heart disease, food cravings, insomnia, depression, PMS, obesity, arthritis, diabetes, and multiple other conditions that are a direct result of uncontrolled stress.
The most stressful jobs:
2. Middle Management
5. Social workers
6. Police and prison officers
7. Road transport
8. Other professionals.
On an average workday, an estimated one million workers do not make it to work due to stress.
“Health and Executive Magazine” claims 6.5 million sick days are being taken every year as a result of stress. Stress affects blood pressure, sleep habits, nervousness, and confusion. Whenever our bodies are stressed – whether the stress is real or imagined – our brains respond as if it is real. Stress, by the way, can come in many forms: an impending deadline, an inability to complete work tasks, or even a verbal lashing from another person. The body’s response is the same regardless of what causes the stress. This course uses conventional teaching methods complemented by guided imagery, creative visualization, meditation, suggestion and hypnotic techniques. Don’t let stress control your business, career, professional or personal life. Take proactive control of your stress, push it aside and start feeling better about yourself. Contact the Healthy Visions Wellness Center today at (865) 269-4616 and leave your stress behind.
Stop Smoking using Hypnosis
Stop smoking through hypnosis and self-hypnosis: Hypnotic suggestion is the easiest and in many cases the only way to stop smoking. It is completely safe and medically approved.
Hypnosis is pleasant; it is a stage of concentration like daydreaming, fascinated reading, absorption in music, or religious ceremony.
Your conscious mind or willpower is relatively weak. It changes continuously. It creates many excuses why you should not stop.
It says to you: “You’ve been smoking too long to stop, you deserve at least a small pleasure, you don’t really smoke so much, you’ll gain weight if you stop, you can cut down instead, you can switch to filter tips instead. I’ve tried everything and can’t stop and so on and so on.”
However, your subconscious mind is strong; it has a great ability to create. It is the main stabilizing force you possess. Once it is set on a certain course of action it rarely lets you vary from it. In order for you to stop smoking you must tap the great power of your subconscious mind.
You must convince it that you no longer smoke.
Stopping is good for you.
When you have convinced yourself you no longer smoke, you will stop. The subconscious mind works at maintaining what you tell it you are.
If it thinks you’re a smoker, because you tell yourself you are, then you keep on smoking. If you keep telling yourself that you have already quit, eventually you will never have another cigarette. The only truly effective way to reach your subconscious mind is through hypnosis, and all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. Hypnosis is completely safe!
Weight Loss using Hypnosis
There is only “ONE” way to lose weight! You have to “BURN” more calories than you eat. There is absolutely no reason to deprive yourself of the foods you like and the nutrition you need so that you can look and feel your best. You know diets don’t work, so quit getting frustrated and stressed when there is a natural healthy way to eat what you like and still reach your optimal weight. Hate to exercise? – then don’t. Why run and sweat and be miserable when a simple 20-minute aerobic increase in physical activity daily will do the job for you without the sweat and the pain? This guided imagery hypnotic stress-reducing CD program will let you use your own natural ability to be the person you are capable of being. You truly are who you think you are! The subconscious mind strives to maintain what it thinks we are. So, if we tell our subconscious mind to see ourselves as overweight then the subconscious mind strives to maintain what we tell it we are. Think fat, get fat, stay fat.
This CD program allows you to rewire your thinking in a pleasant, natural and relaxing way. You will gain confidence, let go of stress and take off those unwanted pounds using suggestions that:
- teach the right amount of water to drink.
- tell how often and how many meals a day you should eat.
- tell how many calories it takes to reduce by one pound.
- food is fuel for your body.
- today’s portion sizes are much greater than 20 years ago.
- small portions give you the same satisfaction as large portions used to.
- help you understand the emotions and stresses that cause over eating.
Fact: Stress causes a rise in cortisol and cortisol creates a craving for sweets and salts.

What is Hypnosis?
Long perceived as the wizardry of magicians and Svengalis, hypnosis is now being reported in the magazines Newsweek, “O” Oprah, ePregnancy, and the Jane Pauley and Date Line TV shows which are explaining why health care is rethinking hypnosis.
Hypnosis can be defined as an altered state of consciousness, awareness, or perception. Hypnosis is a highly relaxed state in which a person’s conscious and subconscious mind is focused and receptive to positive suggestion and imagery. Almost everyone has experienced an altered state at some time in his or her life.
Think of those times when you were driving to work and you arrive not remembering passing streets or buildings, almost totally unaware of what you were doing until you pulled into the parking lot. What about when you or your children were so engrossed in a TV program that you were unaware that someone else had entered the room?
These are the simplest explanations of what hypnosis is. NO mind control, no giving away of secrets, not sleep–just a safe and relaxed experience that is pleasant, refreshing and beneficial.
Our clients include US Military, Corporations and Individuals.
Our training is world-renowned with participants coming from all over the U.S., England, Canada, Australia, Chile, Ireland, and Singapore.
